Installation Details

Important update: How to solve back button issue!

Due to the large tolerances in the front shells of different batches of ROG Ally, and the constant thickness of our back shells, a small number of users have reported that the back keys of the Modcase do not work after installation. To address this issue, we will include a small accessory in the back shell packaging to solve the problem, so please feel assured, users.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your support and understanding as we work to address this matter promptly.

Very easy replacement, all fits nice. Temps got lower for about 8-10 degrees depends on the profile.

Really like this case⁹

Plastic looks premium and is not cheap looking. Love the purple transparent color too. The case fits the ally 1:1 like stock.
Install process was easy, everything you need is in the box (including screwdriver).
I confirm temperature improvement, especially on battery.
Does not add too much weight to the ally.
They include spacers for the back buttons, I used the 0.4mm and they are clickier than stock which I like.
My only gripe is I miss the grippiness of the stock case. This one isn't slippery but the stock one was better because of the texture.
You may need to calibrate the triggers after install, I had to do it because the right trigger felt off but was quickly remedied by the calibration app in armoury crate.

I just installed this on my ally and not only was it simple to do but it lowered my temps from the mid 70s to mid 60s. The back buttons were also simple to install and look great. The included silicone tips to adjust the clicking was great ti see since one of mine didn't really work until I installed one of them. Overall; this was a no brainer.

It was Easy to install and Looks Cool shipping took 6 days. Everything you get in the box seems very well packaged.
